Emmanuel Efuntayo

Emmanuel Ibukun Efuntayo earned an HND in Estate Management from the prestigious Polytechnic, Ibadan and thereafter pursued a degree in Management and Law at Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) as well as a postgraduate diploma in Management at Liverpool University. His quest for cutting edge education and the need to improve his business and entrepreneurial skills development led him to acquire an MBA from UI School of Business. Mr. Efuntayo also attended the prestigious Lagos Business School’s (LBS) Chief Executive Program and an alumni of the school’s CEP 21 class.
His experience spans oil and gas, banking, real estate and property development, valuation and survey. He has worked with reputable organizations such as the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and Eko International Bank (now Polaris Bank). He is currently the Principal Partner and CEO of Ibukun Efuntayo and Company. Mr. Efuntayo is one of the most reputable Estate Surveyor and Valuer with a wealth of experience in the industry.
At the board level, he is a member of the Institute of Directors (IOD). He currently serves as the chairman of the Property, Construction, and Infrastructure group of the Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce (NACC), where he previously held the role of National Treasurer and now serves as the vice president on the board. He also served as the chairman of Ocean and Land Insurance Brokers and sits on the boards of Werkmeister Facility Managers, Agenteur Property Development and Management International Limited, and Valustrat Nigeria Plc. He is currently the chairman of Wemabod Limited, a multibillion Naira rela estate and property development subsidiary of Oodua Investment Company.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Efuntayo is actively involved in his service to humanity. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Ikoyi and currently the 40TH President of the Club. As a member of the Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Mr. Efuntayo contributes his expertise to the branch’s Inter-Governmental subcommittee.
He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) and he is happily married with children

Olu Abayomi Sanya

Olu Abayomi Sanya is the pioneer MD/CEO of Goldbanc Management Associates (GMA) Yomi obtained a B.Sc. in Finance and Banking from the University of Lagos, a product of Stanford Business School, USA and currently has over 45 years of experience in assets management, investment banking and securities trading.

He started his career with Chase Merchant Bank (later Continental Merchant Bank) before moving to the United Kingdom, where he worked on some primary market issues (IPOs) while studying to become a management accountant. He was the head of Capital Markets at Capital Bancorp Limited prior to his appointment as founding Managing Director of Crossworld Securities Limited (an investment banking firm in Nigeria)

As the MD/CEO of GMA, Yomi has supervised several novelle transactions as well as pioneered the first cross border listing between Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). He also structured and raised capital for the first Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) in Africa with the Union Homes REIT (currently listed on the NGX. Through his expertise of the international financial market, he alosngside his global affiliates invested over US$1Billion in Nigeria as capital for companies like Neimeth Pharmaceuticals, Mutual Benefit Insurance, Sovereign Trust Insurance amongst others.

Yomi was on the Board of several companies including Africa Alliance Insurance, LASACO. He currently sits of the Board of GTI Assets Management Limited.

He is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACIMA), a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCIS) and a dealing clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX) as well as the Lagos Commodity and Futures Exchange (LCFE).

Akinfenwa

Akeem Akinfenwa is a graduate with a B.Sc. In Finance and M.Sc. In Economics from the University of Lagos.

Akeem comes from a multi-disciplinary management consulting background with experience spanning banking, research and consulting, training and capacity development, business development and strategy as well as human resource. His competence lies in business planning and implementing changes to strategic business units to realize spelt out key strategic objectives.

He was the Head of Operations of a community bank, Chief Operating Officer of the aviation consulting division of; Head, Investment Projects & Economics/Specialised Consulting in Michael Stevens Consulting and responsible for business development and project management of several consulting engagements with FITC Consulting, pioneer Group Head, Strategy, Performance Management & Product Development for Abbey Mortgage Bank PLC.

Some of his achievements include the structuring of a 450unit housing finance development transaction between ABBEY and a staff cooperative society in Lagos, project manager for internal mission critical processes that led to the attraction of foreign core investors and private equity firms in ABBEY as well as the transition of the mortgage bank from a private limited liability company to a public limited liability company (PLC) and the subsequent listing on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 2008. Also solely facilitated the funding of the 5% of the total value of the shares offered on the first day of listing by introduction.

Team lead/member that implemented the business re-development plan for Obudu Cattle Ranch; team member in the resuscitation and re-engineering of the subsidiary of Nigeria Airways (SAHCOL) into the only profitable and sustaining institution which was recently sold through the Bureau of Public Enterprise (BPE) to SIFAX; team member that resuscitated the consulting division of FITC; team member in the post-merger performance management system (PMS) development and implementation for NACRDB (the legacy development bank of Bank of Agriculture (BOA); team member in the pre-consolidation appraisal and strategy development for the largest legacy bank of the Unity Bank PLC merger.

Akeem is a seasoned strategy consultant as well as a facilitator on strategy, leadership and management development programmes for numerous blue-chip organisations and consulting firms. He was a guest lecturer for the at the Central Bank of Tanzania/African Union of Housing Finance Annual Conference, facilitates for the Lagos State Government Ministry of Establishment, Training and Pension as well as the Teaching Services Commission (TESCOM)

Akeem is an alumni of the prestigious Lagos Business School’s AMP21 class.

Olumide Falohun

Olumide Falohun is a graduate of the University of Paris, France where he obtained double honors degrees in Political Science and Political Economics. He also holds a Master’s Degree in the former.

Olumide Falohun began his Insurance career with Glanvill, Enthoven Insurance Brokers in 1981 and later joined Leadway Assurance Company Limited, one of the foremost indigenous Insurance and Financial Services provider, in 1985 where he rose to the position of General Manager before leaving in October 2004. He was Managing Director/CEO of Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc between 2004 and 2010 before he resigned to start his own company Verve Insurance Company Limited with strong foray into Insurance Brokerage and Health Insurance, and he is the Vice Chairman / Managing Director. Olumide is currently the Chairman Board of Directors of Bishopsgate Microfinance Bank and has also served in the past on the Boards of Globe Reinsurance and Indemnity Finance

He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School and the Swiss Insurance Training School.

Jide Oyekanmi

Jide Oyekanmi is a graduate of the University of Ife and later obtained a degree in Law from one of the world’s prestigious institutions, University of Warwick.

Jide is a multi-jurisdictional lawyer and member of the solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales. He practices law in Nigeria, the UK and the USA. He worked with Halifax PLC before setting up his own law firm in the UK.

He is the founding Partner in the London based Hackman Solicitors where he was exposed to a lot of intricacies in the financial aspect of property market in the UK. He is also a Director of Ang Tech Services Limited and Hackman Micro Finance Bank. He is the promoter of Hackman Real Estate Fund, a Private Equity firm with investment focus in the real estate sector in Nigeria. Jide currently practices law and has advised various companies in the African oil and gas Industry

Ameer Hameed studied Investment Management at the London Business School and an MBA at Webster University

His experience spans over 25 years from a humble beginning as a Senior Trader with Daewoo Securities (Europe) Limited to Director, Investment Banking before taking up the responsibility as Executive Director Investment Banking at Mirae Asset Daewoo, London, United Kingdom.

Ameer currently manages Mirae Assets Daewoo, one of the largest financial services, banks in Asia with US$300 billion AUM. Ammer’s expertise is in investing proprietary funds in core commercial real estate, infrastructure, private equity and hedge funds. Responsible for setting up and heading the Africa and Middle East desk

Ameer, through is exclusive country representative in Nigeria, GMA, has invested over US$1billion in equity, debt and other hybrid instruments in Nigeria quoted companies through the Nigerian capital market.

Adetokunbo Davies - MCIArb, MIPMA

Adetokunbo Davies is currently a Partner with the Law firm of Pinheiro LP, one of the foremost law firms in Nigeria. He is a lawyer, having graduated from the University of Lagos and the Nigerian Law School. He is an active reader and currently pursuing an MBA degree from the University of Suffolk, UK.

Adetokunbo possesses vast experience in litigations, appeals, arbitrations as well as election related cases. In the Litigation department, Adetokunbo currently handle over 50 complex litigation cases and have appeared in all superior courts of record representing different clients.

He has secured judgements in numerous cases at the High Court, National Industrial Court, Court of Appeal as well as the Supreme Court. He has obtained numerous rulings and orders in favor of clients such as exparte orders, mareva injunctions, anton pillar orders etc at various courts of jurisdictions.

Adetokunbo is an integral part of the alternative dispute resolution team and help in resolving contractual disputes that arise between parties. He currently handling Arbitration matters holding across different states in Nigeria.

Adetokunbo also has verse cross border/international experience having worked on ICC arbitration in London, Hong Kong and Vienna

Adetokunbo is an experts with deep knowledge of election petition proceedings which are sui generis having conducted trial and secured judgment client in the Edo State Senatorial Election Petition in 2019, represented a sitting Senator in a pre-election matter from the Federal High Court up to the Supreme Court, represented candidates for the Nigerian National Assembly in the 2023 election petitions erupting from the 2023 general elections amongst several other election related cases.
